Zanokhanyo Job Readiness Course
In Zanokhanyo, we train, equip and develop unemployed persons in various ways to enable them to become financially self-supportive. We also aim to develop our graduates socially, spiritually, and emotionally, with a specific focus on work-related situations. We desire to see them become personally fulfilled and economically viable through an employment situation that is mutually satisfying for the employer as well as the employee.
Training
Our training material is based upon research conducted in 2007 by Learn to Earn for Phambili ngeThemba. Graduates are required to attend every day of the two-week job readiness course as each day is valued highly.
Business partnering
Business partners are sought to place graduates by matching skill levels with employer requirements to ensure that graduates are placed in suitable positions and the usual HR processes are carried out by the business partner. We are selective with business partners, ensuring that graduates are employed in good business environments.
Mentoring
During the first three months of employment we provide on-the-job mentoring to help ensure that the employment relationship for both the employer and employee goes smoothly. Thereafter, we trust that graduate is under way to building a solid future.
